mitchell's term 3 week 5


This week we have been reading about neighbourhood niggles.

can you please give me feedback on how you liked it.






1.On this week’s Doc type the main character(s) in this issue and the pages

2. Type the ISSUE (problem).
Should Milly Morris be allowed to turn the vacant section into a kids-only park?


3. Create a 2 column table of the problem and its consequences.

Many of the houses in Nite street have very small backyard.
The kids in nite street can play at the bigger park instead of the small backyards.


4. Solution - Type who the writer is and what solution they want, e.g. Suzie Long wants Mr & Mrs Fitz to move with their hens to the country.


Milly Morris should be allowed to make a kids only park in the  vacant section next door.

Albatross Poem

Albatross Poem

Albatross tears.
Loyal birds.
Brave when trapped.
Autumn Timoti walks back with Albatrosses .
Royal is a name.
Otago habitat.
Soft white feathers.
Sad and upset when away from owner.
Tears  Salty water.
Eat fish from the sea.
Albatross never drink fresh water.
Risking their life for people.

Soft feather on their wings.

Fire call out

Fire call out
1) the pagers wire going beeping Brandon goes to the fire station and gets ready for the fire battle.

2) They fight the fire and the first job is to save lives and then save property.

3) at the end the firefighters have a reflection meeting to talk about if they could do better next time.

This is my reading from term 3 week 9 it is called The pollution problem.
